The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has dismantled a cyberfraud ring based in Noida that targeted individuals in the UK and Australia through fake tech‑support calls. On July 7, they arrested Nishant Walia, a key operative in the FirstIdea firm, and raided three locations—including a sham call center in the Noida SEZ. The scammers impersonated IT giants like Microsoft. The operation was conducted in collaboration with FBI, UK’s National Crime Agency, and Microsoft
